Officials stated the Delhi government will push e-commerce businesses, food delivery services, and cab aggregators to transition totally to electric cars, and gas stations will refuse to fill vehicles without a pollution-under-control (PUC) certificate.
This week, the Environment (Protection) Act is anticipated to provide directions in this respect.

In accordance with the National Green Tribunal's orders, the Delhi government would deregister all diesel cars that will reach their ten-year mark on January 1, 2022, and issue a no-objection certificate (NOC) allowing them to be re-registered elsewhere. According to an order published earlier this month, no NOC will be provided for diesel cars that have been in service for 15 years or more on the date of application.
