Pariksha Pe Charcha is an initiative taken by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is a contest for students. The first edition of Pariksha pe Charcha was held in 2018; then the second edition was held on 29 January 2019, in New Delhi; the latest edition of the contest was held on 20 January 2020. But this year in February, it was notified that because of the Covid-19 pandemic the Prime Minister’s annual interaction with students will be held online. And thereof, this morning (5 April 2021, Monday ) Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that his annual interaction with students i.e., ''Pariksha Pe Charcha'' will be held on April 7 at 7 pm in a new format i.e., in an online mode. Prime Minister tweeted that: “A new format, several interesting questions on a wide range of subjects and a memorable discussion with our brave #ExamWarriors, parents and teachers. Watch 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' at 7 PM on 7th April”. Prime Minister has also shared a video with this tweet on his tweeter handle. In this video, he gave a message and some tips to the students. He indicated to the students that as “we have been living in the Coronavirus pandemic for the last one year. Hence, we have to organize the PPC event virtually.” Furthermore, while sharing some tips with the students, PM Modi pronounced that, “We see the examination as the end of our dreams but it is an amazing opportunity to construct our lives. I am not suggesting this as a PM but as a true friend. When the students fear issues like if my results are not good enough then what my friends and my parents will say, they create pressure on their minds. And actually, there is no free time, but it is a treasure. So, read good books, stories, poetry, and watch good movies. These will give you good experiences. It is 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' but it is not just a discussion about exams.”
