Secretary of Defense Dr. Ajay Kumar released the Director General National Officer Candidates (NCC) Mobile Training App Version 2.0 in New Delhi on May 28, 2021 under the COVID-19 Pandemic situation. It Helps NCC Candidates to conduct online training on a nationwide scale. It provides basic NCC-related information and entire training materials (Shirabus, Plessis, Training Videos, Frequently Asked Questions) in one platform. Aims is to provide easy access to training materials for NCC cadets and assists in conducting training during pandemics.

NCC training app version 2.0 is useful for digital learning cadets and overcomes the difficulties posed by the limitation of physical contact with COVID-19. With this app, cadets can participate in online training, take certification exams, and prevent loss of school year.

In praise of the NCC staff who developed the app, Dr. Ajay Kumar said it would be a solid step towards automating NCC training in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Digital India.”

Director General NCC Lt. Gen. Tarun Kumar Aich said the version 1.0 of the app was launched last August and based on the feedback, it was upgraded to Version 2.0. The DG NCC states that 130 training videos have also been added to make the class more interesting. The app is now interactive with the inclusion of query options. This option allows cadets to post questions related to the training syllabus, and a panel of qualified instructors will answer the same questions.
