The farmers were given the permission to carry out tractor rally, in the protest against the three contentious farm bills. The time allowed them was between 12 PM to 6 PM. Also, the police is no-objection certificate stated the route map to be followed during protests.
But the farmers were seen breaking all the norms. At Singhu Border they manged to breach the barricade around 8:30 AM well before the alloted time for tractor rally.
At both Singhu Border and Tikri border points they broke through the police barricades. In order to control and disperse the crowd, the police had to resort to teargas shelling.
Major Singh Kaisal, who is the part of this protest, said that "We will not follow this government's route. We wany to enter Delhi from outer ring road. We won't bow down."
Not only they violated the norms but also blocked the roads at Mukarba chowk.
According to farmers this is a revolution and they aren't scared of dying. The police want to sabotage their cause.
They even threatened to surround central Delhi.
