    Delhi witnessed a single-day COVID-19 fatalities hike on Wednesday 18th November,2020. Hima Kohli and Subramonium a division bench of Justices came across petition filed by Rakesh Malhotra depicting increase in COVID-19 Testing numbers and increased speedy results in national capital of country. 

    The court has said "the bell should have rung clear and loud when the numbers are actually spiralling, Why didn't you woke up when you saw the situation was deteriorating? The testing through RAT is not fulfilling the purpose, Delhi Government should understand this. There is a need to increase the testing through RT-PCR.



    Hima Kohli the justice, said " the number of death climbed, it is disheartening to know that, looking at the scenario of spread of the infection the pressure is increased on health faculty and facilities of state. As per the statement of Senior Advocate Sandeep Sethi 750 ICU beds will be available by the Centre. 

    Sethi submitted a new Feluda testing Kit can be used for testing and also stated that fifth sero surveillance has not taken up as third wave is underway.
